Commander Aquilius followed closely behind his ERA guides as they proceded further into the mountains. His detachment of Imperial soldiers followed close. The snow blew around them in great drifts freezing the men. Then in the near distance a voice shouted.
"It's over here!" The men struggled across the rugged terrain ending at a large hole in the ground that seemed endless. One of the soldiers kicked a rock down. A few seconds passed and a clank was heard. The men all exchanged glances.
"This is it boys. Everyone down." Aquilius ordered. The soldiers secured grapple lines on the ruins around them and the ERA guides began hoping their way down from ledge to ledge. The soldiers decended much slower and after a few minutes they set foot on ice cold metal. It was hard to make what they were standing on. After a minute Aquilius ordered them down further and they grappled further down the metal hulk. The ERA guides kept pace with them as they decended to the cavern floor some several hundred meters below. DarkAngel however fell behind landing on a thin metal walk way. He turned, finding himself staring into the dull, icey blue eye of a Golem. Instead of jumping Dark smiled.
He squezed himself into the head of the machine reaching its central AI unit. Below him the Imperials spread out still unsure of what they had uncover. The ERA guides similarly wandered around a bit confused. Dark unsure of how the complex aray of gears and wires worked simply kicked the contraption. Without warning it began to whir and gears began to spin. He scrammbled out of the head and when he reemerged infront of the eye it was lit.
"Awaken..." The metalic groan echoed around the entire cave. In a rush Dark grabbed a grapple line and began to accend. The ERA guides similarly didn't wait and stole the imperials lines and began to climb aswell.
All around the Imperials Irongolems began to emerge armed with strange weapons. Their eyes a deathly red. The Imperial scrammbled for their lines only to find them but by the ERA.
"You traitors, i'll have your head for this!" Aquilius called after them. Dark laughed.
"It's your head those machines will have." He laughed as he and his allies accended to the surface. Aquilius cursed.
"Damn them. Men fight for all your worth!" The Imperials charged the Golems only to be cut aside. The battle was over before it began. Aquilus was backed into a corner with five golems closing in. Then a heavy line crashed down from the sky and seconds later Endermen teleported in and began wailing on the golems. Aquilius grabbed the line and was pulled to the surface. The ERA had escaped.
"Assemble the men, call up Val. I want the air fleet here. Now."
ERA is in an open state of rebellion against the Val Empire! On Saturday 2pm EST/ 7pm GMT all players need to report to the WarHub for the greatest battle of the war. Bring your best gear, this will be a fight to remember!
